Memphis, TN-The NBA announced it is suspending Grizzlies guard Tony Allen for one game for kicking Clippers guard Chris Paul in the face in the Grizzlies win in Los Angeles on Monday.

Allen was ejected in the first quarter of that game when he raised his leg to stop Paul on a drive to the basket.  Allen was apologetic for what he called an accident, but the play was still ruled a flagrant 2 foul.

Allen will miss the Grizzlies game at Golden State on Wednesday.
