(Shelbyville, TN) Three people were hurt near Nashville after an explosion near downtown Shelbyville.
One person reportedly had burns over 50% of their body.
WTVF-TV reports it appears the explosions came from oil tanks at Southern Energy on Lane Parkway.
All businesses within a half-mile radius were evacuated due to the risk of more explosions.
WTVF-TV reports the fire department planned to raise the flood gates to the Duck River to prevent oil-contaminated water from going into the river.
