Memphis, TN-Former Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay scored 23 points in his return to FedEx Forum and another ex-Grizzlies player, Kyle Lowry, pumped in 21 to help lead the Toronto Raptors to a 103-87 win over Memphis on Wednesday.

Gay, who was traded to Toronto back in January of last season, caught fire in the second quarter when he scored 11 points in a three-minute span.  That helped the Raptors take a 55-44 halftime lead.

Mike Conley led Memphis with 29 points.  Conley scored 12 of those in the third quarter as the Grizzlies rallied to tie the game at 70, but Toronto went on a 22-4 run to take control again.  Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph each posted a double-double for the Grizzlies, who are now 3-5 and headed out west for four games.

The Grizzles need a new coach. That coach don’t have a clue of the game or players. I guess the owner’s are getting what they paid for.
