Grizzlies pushed around by Pacers
Indianapolis, IN-Eight is not enough for the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers beat the Memphis Grizzlies, 95-79, on Monday for their eighth straight win to start the season. Indiana is the NBA’s only unbeaten team.
The Pacers got 23 points from their leading scorer Paul George and got a triple-double out of Lance Stephenson, who had 13 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists in just a little over three quarters of play.
They dominated the Grizzlies on the boards, outrebounding them 45-32 on the glass. The Grizzlies shot just 41 percent from the floor. Memphis was led by Marc Gasol’s 15 points.
The Grizzlies are now 3-4 and host Toronto on Wednesday in Rudy Gay’s first game in Memphis against his former teammates.
