(Memphis) An East Memphis man is accused of raping a 3-year-old girl and recording it on his phone.
Forty-five-year-old Khamprason Keophila is charged with aggravated rape of a child.
Police said it happened at Keophila's home in August.
Investigators said the child's mother found the video weeks later and turned it in to police.
"I almost had a heart attack, because I don't believe it," said his girlfriend, Khampouvo Keophila.
She said she never saw any signs and never saw the video.
Khampouvo Keophila said her boyfriend is a beloved grandfather of two and a hard worker. She said he calls every day from jail confused on why he's behind bars.
Prosecutors are gathering evidence until his case heads to a grand jury.
"I'm not sure he did it. I'm not sure," said Khampouvo.
Khamprason Keophila is behind bars on a $1 million bond. He could face up to 30 years in jail if he's found guilty.
