Memphis, TN-The Houston Rockets didn’t really need their star players to embarrass the Grizzlies in Memphis’ final preseason game.  Rockets guard James Harden played only a handful of minutes because of a right knee bruise and Dwight Howard didn’t play half the game, but Houston won, 92-73.  Harden and Howard each scored six points.

The Grizzlies were led by Marc Gasol’s 17 points.  Memphis shot just 32 percent from the floor.

The Grizzlies open the regular season on Wednesday in San Antonio.
