Memphis, TN– Despite a piece of NCAA history, the Tigers dropped a third straight game…34-29 to SMU.

Tiger linebacker Ryan Coleman became just the fourth player in history to return two fumbles for touchdowns, helping the U of M score the final 26 points of the game.  But this game was decided in the first half when SMU jumped out to a 31-3 lead, getting two touchdowns from quarterback Garrett Gilbert.  The Mustangs also out-gained the Tigers 282-116 in that first half.
