Tunica County Deputy Shoots Self; Gun Is Missing

(Horn Lake, MS) A Tunica County deputy accidentally shot herself Thursday morning, and now the gun is missing.

The shooting happened in an apartment complex in Horn Lake.

The gun reportedly went off in her purse in the parking lot.

While the deputy was being taken to the hospital, her department-issued Glock 22 was taken.

Deputy Angela White was released from the hospital later that day.

Horn Lake Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for the gun.
