Federal Building Evacuated After Bomb Threat

(Memphis) The federal building in downtown Memphis was evacuated Wednesday afternoon because of a bomb threat Wednesday afternoon.

The Odell Horton Federal Building is located at 167 North Main Street.

During the evacuation, the Main Street MATA trolley line was closed.

The building and surrounding streets were reopened about two hours after the evacuation began.

The bomb threat was in a letter.

Nothing was found during a search of the building.
