(Memphis) Three kids are among seven people recovering after a crash in the Hickory Hill area Thursday morning.

The accident happened at Hickory Hill and Oakland Hills just before 7 a.m.

Police report the car with five people inside, including three kids, pulled out in front of a SUV.

Two people in the SUV and two adults in the car were taken to the hospital.

All of the children were taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.

Two of the children are in critical condition.

“It’s bad intersection in the morning time,” said neighborhood watch president Darnell Flowers.

He said just last month during a meeting with MPD that he mentioned the dangerous intersection.

“When we had our last meeting over here I brought it up then. But with the situation going on with the man power and stuff, it’s going to be pretty hard to get people to stop speeding,” said Flowers.

MPD has not ticketed a driver in the accident yet as they continue to investigate.
