(Memphis) A job fair in South Memphis is helping hundreds of people get on their feet.

Kelly Services is holding the job fair to fill 700 jobs for the holiday season.

The jobs include production, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing and shipping.

While organizers could not say what companies are hiring, they said the work is all over the Mid-South.

Organizers said they were busier than expected. Hundreds came out in the first couple hours.

Some hopefuls were recently laid off.

"It has been roughly two months now," said Adam Wills.

Wills needs work to take care of his kids.

"It's very hard because daycare, school, lunch money, clothes. It has been very hard," said Wills.

The job fair is at Kelly Services' office near I-240 and Airways off Paragon Drive.

The fair continues Friday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
