(St. Francis County, AR) A woman who had been shot, was found by a farmer in a field, about 15 minutes outside of West Memphis.

She was found near the intersection of Highways 70 and 75.

Stacey Buckley, a 45-year-old from Fayette County, TN was spotted by a farmer working on his soybeans.

Neighbors say an ambulance and several squad cars rushed to the field.

Buckley was airlifted to The MED in critical condition.

Both Fayette and St. Francis County authorities are working to find out how she got there.

Late Tuesday night, the Fayette County Sheriff's Department received a call from someone asking them to do a welfare check on Buckley and her boyfriend, 52-year-old Jeffrey Wall.

They had not been heard from since Sunday afternoon.

When deputies arrived at the residence, neither Wall nor Buckley was there and both vehicles (a 2008 white GMC pickup and a 2010 white Chevy Tahoe) were gone.

Fayette County authorities tell us the couple has a history of domestic violence, and both have an arrest history for assault.

Investigators are looking for Wall so they can question him about the shooting.
