NAACP Leader to Resign

Ben Jealous, the president of the NAACP, has announced plans to step down at the end of the year.

According to a statement, he will resign in December to spend more time with his family.

Jealous also says he wants to work on training a new generation of civil rights leaders.

The NAACP statement does not name a successor.
