(Memphis) Get ready for rides, games and, of course, lots of food at the annual Delta Fair.

It opened Friday at the Agri-Center.

Thousands of people are expected to attend over the next nine days.

Organizers are expecting a quarter of a million people to make their way to the fair this week hoping to catch some fun.

Some call it the fair full of Memphis flair.

The seventh annual Delta Fair and Music Festival has begun.

The week is not only packed with games, concerts and food, but there's a demolition derby, a lion and tiger show, monkeys riding dogs, pig wrestling and more.

You'll find your traditional Ferris wheel, thrill rides and a mini roller coaster.

Tickets are$5 at the gate, but there are deals for the little ones.

Cooling tents and fans are set up, which is where many parents say they're posting up.

The fun wraps up next Sunday with an Amazing Race casting call.
