Surprising new numbers show just how many American students aren’t academically ready to take things, to the next level.

They may be graduating from high school with a diploma, but according to their ACT scores, a third of them aren’t prepared for college coursework!

Education Expert Dr. Barbara Prescott was Head of the Transition Planning Commission for the school merger.

She’s now Executive Director of People First, a new partnership between business and education in Memphis.
