(Memphis)  Fire investigators are trying to figure out what caused an overnight house fire that left a family of four homeless in the Binghampton neighborhood.

The fire broke out around 4 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Los Angeles St. — which is near Jackson Ave. and Scott St.

Firefighters say a mother and her three children were inside when the fire broke out.

The children got out OK, but the mother cut her hand while trying to get through a window.

She was taken to the MED with minor injuries.
