(Memphis) What was a quiet off-season for the Grizzlies just got a serious boost with word tonight that Mike Miller is coming back to the Bluff City.
Miller decided to return to the Grizzlies instead of signing with any number of other suitors, including Oklahoma City and the Rockets.
Miller spent six seasons in the Beale Street blue, winning sixth man of the year back in 2006.
He’s also a career 41 percent three-point shooter, giving the Grizz that much needed perimeter scorer.
As a bonus, the Grizz get miller at a discount, because after winning back-to-back NBA titles, the Heat amnestied Miller, but are still on the hook for almost $13 million in salary.
