(Dyer Co., TN) The Dyer County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant Wednesday evening at the home of widower David Swift.

Swift's wife, Karen, disappeared in late October 2011. The 44-year-old mother's car was found near her house, and her body was found a month later in a nearby cemetery.

According to court records, Karen was in the process of filing for divorce when she disappeared.

Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box tells News Channel 3 the context of the search warrant, the results of the search and the nature of search is sealed by court order.

The investigation is active and on-going.
