(Shelby County, TN) A standoff with a woman, who is married to a Memphis police officer,  and who shot at deputies, ended 11 hours after it began.

Shelby County Sheriff's Office S.W.A.T. deputies took the woman into custody after she walked unarmed into her backyard in East Shelby County around 8:30 a.m.

Jennifer Brook Davis has been taken to MMHI to be evaluated and could be charged with several counts of Aggravated Assault with additional charges possibly added at a later time.

Deputies say Davis barricaded herself inside a house in the 10600 block of Headley Cove in a new subdivision off Latting Woods Road a few miles east of Pisgah and Houston Levee.

Shelby County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Chip Washington say the situation unfolded around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

When deputies tried to go in, the woman fired a shot at them.

Deputies returned fire, but no one was hit.
