Bartlett Officer Resigns Over Absenteeism

(Bartlett, TN) Bartlett police officer Zach Watkins has resigned from the Bartlett Police Department.

It was alleged Watkins was abusing the department’s sick leave policy.

A report said he was often not at work, which caused problems for co-workers and cost the city money in overtime payments.

Watkins was with the department for more than 12 years.
