San Antonio, TX-When the going got tough, San Antonio’s tough guys got going. Tony Parker scored 15 points and dished out a playoff career-high 18 assists and Tim Duncan scored the Spurs first six points of overtime to give San Antonio a a 93-89 victory over the Grizzlies in game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. The Spurs now lead the series 2-0.

San Antonio led by 13 points with eight minutes left, but allowed the Grizzlies to end the game on a 15-2 run to force overtime.

“I hate that we gave up that big of a lead in that situation,” Duncan said. “But we were resilient enough to go to overtime and not let it affect us and get the win.”

Memphis has fallen behind in all three playoff series this year. The Grizzlies rallied from an 0-2 whole against the Clippers and from an 0-1 deficit against the Thunder.

Game 3 is Saturday night at FedEx Forum in Memphis.

“We’re in the same boat we were when we left L.A. We’re down 0-2. We’ve got to go home and take care of business at home,” Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins said. “It’s not going to be easy, but that’s where we are.”
