Boil Water Alert Issued For Coahoma County

(Coahoma County, MS) The Mississippi State Department of Health issued a boil-water alert for residents who get their drinking water from Farrell Utilities in Coahoma county.

This alert affects 243 customers.

Health officials say water sampling showed the presence of E. coli bacteria and strongly recommend all water be boiled for at least one minute before it’s consumed

This precaution will last at least two days.
