City Watch Alert for Missing Teenager

(Memphis)  A City Watch Alert has been issued for a missing South Memphis teenager.

Police say 15-year-old Kailyn Carpenter was last seen Tuesday afternoon at Southwest Prep Academy.

Her mother told police that Kailyn called her and said she was going to get a ride home from school. She never came home.

Kailyn is 5’5″ tall, weighs 150 lbs. and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tan jacket, a white shirt, black pants and black and blue Baby Phat shoes.

Police say she has been diagnosed as bipolar and paranoid schizophrenic. She also suffers from ADHD.
