Tigers lose important assistant coach

Memphis, TN-Tigers basketball assistant coach Damon Stoudamire is leaving Memphis after two seasons. Stoudamire is returning to his alma mater, Arizona, that is coached by Sean Miller. Stoudamire joined Josh Pastner’s staff at Memphis after a couple of years working for the Memphis Grizzlies. Stoudamire also had an all-star career in the NBA as a player. Stoudamire is credited with a lot of the major recruiting success the Tigers have had over the past couple of years. Pastner now has two openings on his staff with Jimmy Williams leaving a couple of weeks ago.
