Apartment Complex Damaged by Overnight Fire

(Memphis)  Investigators with the Memphis Fire Department are trying to determine what caused an apartment fire late Thursday night.

The fire broke out just before 11:30 p.m. at the Flairwood Apartments on Tchulahoma Road north of Shelby Drive.

The fire heavily damaged several units in one building, but luckily, no one was injured.

It took firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the flames.

The American Red Cross was called in to assist those who were displaced by the fire.
