Memphis, TN-Tigers forward Tarik Black ended all speculation on Tuesday about his future when he announced he’ll transfer to play his final season of basketball elsewhere. Black said, he’ll get his release from Memphis in a few days and start contacting other schools.

The only stipulation is Black can’t transfer to any school that could end up on Memphis’ schedule next year. Having graduated in three years, Black will be eligible to play immediately for another school. That’s something he said, he wants to do for a different experience in basketball and education. Black averaged eight points and four rebounds this past season for the Tigers, who lost in their second game of the NCAA Tournament.
