Lowering Unemployment Checks

(Little Rock, AR) The Arkansas State Senate has approved a bill that would lower unemployment benefits.

The measure would cut the maximum benefit from $451 a week to $325 a week.

The bill now goes to the House.

The Senate also approved a bill that would require people on unemployment to undergo random drug testing.
