(Memphis) Investigators with the Memphis Fire Department are trying to figure out the cause of an early morning fire that displaced 11 people near the Medical District.
When firefighters arrived in the 200 block of Decatur Street around 5:30 a.m. Monday, they found flames coming from the kitchen of a duplex.
Firefighters say four adults and seven children were in the duplex when the fire broke out. They all got out OK before firefighters arrived. No firefighters were injured.
The American Red Cross has been called in to assist the people displaced by the fire.
