(Elgin, NE) A quick oil change turned into a rescue operation in Nebraska.
Workers at a GM auto center lifted the hood and found a trapped cat with its head sticking out of a small hole.
Mechanics took the bumper off and had to drill a hole in the metal around the cat’s neck.
A vet was called in to give the cat a sedative while the work was being done.
It took an hour and a half to rescue the cat.
The animal lived on a farm and was returned to its owner.
