Grizzlies suffer tough loss in Washington

Washington, DC-The Grizzlies ran into a wall Monday night in Washington. Wizards guard John Wall scored a career-high 47 points to lead Washington to a 107-94 win over Memphis. Wall also added eight assists for the Wizards, who almost got a double-double from Emeka Okafor (21 points, nine rebounds).

Wall was extremely efficient, knocking down 13 of his 22 shots while making a career-high 19 free throws on 24 attempts.

Mike Conley had 23 points to lead the Grizzlies, who lost on the road for a fourth straight game. Grizzlies center Marc Gasol missed his second straight game with an abdominal tear.
