(Hollywood, CA) Actress Bonnie Franklin who starred in the hit sitcom “One Day at a Time” has died.

Franklin was the divorced mother of two teenage daughters played by Valerie Bertinelli and McKenzie Phillips.

The show was one of the first to deal with divorce and teenage sex.

“One Day at a Time” was a ratings winner for CBS and ran for nine seasons from 1975-1984.

Franklin was a stage star before taking on the role.

She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last fall.

Bonnie Franklin was 69-years-old.
