The National Weather Service has just issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of the News Channel 3 viewing area.

The advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday morning.

Sleet and Ice up to a tenth of an inch are possible.

Highs today only near 40, with winds from the Northeast.

Rain returns overnight, starting as freezing rain from Midnight until about 9am, and then changing over to all rain on Thursday.

Highs Thursday in the mid 40’s.
