Out of the Slums of Kenya to being a Nurse

Maggie Muthuri went from living under a tree in Kenya to becoming a nurse.

All because of her own hard work and determination to pull herself out of the slums of Africa and make something of herself.

Now Maggie is in Memphis, helping a program here that’s dedicated to making a difference in the lives of women just like her.
