(San Bernardino, CA) The manhunt for a suspected killer in California might be over.

Investigators say former Los Angeles police officer Christopher Dorner was wanted for the murders of three people and had a hit list on the internet.

They say Dorner was found in a cabin in the San Bernardino mountains by two cleaning women.  He then  tied them up, but they escaped and called for help.

A gunfight erupted between the suspect and deputies. One deputy was killed and  another had  surgery after the firefight..

Tear gas was thrown into the cabin and then a single gun shot was heard.  After that the cabin caught fire.

It is unclear whether Dorner was killed in the fire or not.
