(Los Angeles) A massive manhunt involving more than a dozen law enforcement agencies is underway for a former police officer accused of murder.
Investigators say former LAPD officer Christopher Dorner shot two people to death over the weekend. Early this morning, Dorner allegedly shot three police officers, killing one of them according to our sister station KTLA.
Police say Dorner wrote a manifesto on his Facebook page about the weekend killings that included the name of retired LAPD captain Randy Quan. One of the victims Dorner is accused of killing over the weekend is Quan’s daughter. The other victim was her fiance.
Dorner was fired from the LAPD in 2008 for telling lies about his training officer. Investigators say Dorner, a trained marksman, is out for revenge.
