Accused Mississippi Highway Shooter In Court

(Sardis, MS) The accused highway shooter in Mississippi pleads not guilty today.

James Willie faces capital murder charges in the shooting deaths of two people last year.

He was in court today in Sardis.

Prosecutors will seek the death penalty in their case after police say Willie shot and killed one woman on May 11th near Tunica on Highway 713.

They also say he killed a  man from  Nebraska who was found a few days earlier on Interstate-55 in Panola County.
