9-Year-Old Gives Birth
(Jalisco, Mexico) Police in Mexico are looking for the teen who got a 9-year-old girl pregnant.
The girl gave birth via Cesarean section to a baby in January in a hospital near Guadalajara.
The girl has said the father was loving, but police are investigating to make sure the girl was not raped.
Also recently, a 9-year-old Chinese girl has given birth to a healthy son.
The 6lb boy was delivered by Caesarean section.
Last night police were reportedly trying to establish who the father is.
In the province, sex with a child under the age of 14 brings an automatic rape conviction and a lengthy jail sentence.
