Ole Miss comes up short against Kentucky
Oxford, MS-Kentucky’s Kyle Wiltjer scored a career-high 26 points to lead the Wildcats to an 87-74 win at 16th ranked Ole Miss on Tuesday night. Wildcats freshman Nerlens Noel set a school record with 12 blocked shots as Kentucky picked up a big win for their NCAA resume.
Ole Miss rallied from a 17-point second half deficit to pull within one point with four minutes left, but couldn’t get over the hump. Ole Miss (17-3, 6-1) got 22 points from LaDarius White and 21 from Marshall Henderson. The Rebels play at fourth ranked Florida on Saturday.
