(Marion, AR)  Crittenden County deputies have arrested a Memphis man in connection with the theft of a bronze statue from the Memphis Child Advocacy Center.

58-year-old Freddie Davis is being held at the Crittenden County Jail on theft charges.

Deputies believe he was involved in the theft of the statue of a little girl — which was removed from its base outside the Child Advocacy Center last month.

Deputies arrested Davis after the head of the statue was found Monday at a scrap yard in Marion.
