Severe Weather Possible Tonight Across the Mid-South

The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center has upgraded part of the Mid-South to a moderate risk for severe weather tonight.

Strong winds, heavy rain, hail and isolated tornadoes are possible.

During the day today, temperatures will again reach the lower 70's under most cloudy skies.  

The severe weather threat becomes the focus on late tonight with storms expected to make their way into the News Channel 3 viewing area late this evening.

One to two inches of rain is possible tonight through.

Temperatures will be falling for the rest of the week.
