For First Time, Member Of Military Given Award In Name of MLK

This month, as the nation celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday, the Memphis organization “Citizens for Better Service” held its 20th annual MLK, Jr commemorative awards. 

The awards recognize people in the community who exemplify the qualities of Dr. King. 

For the first time, a member of the military received the honor.
