(Memphis) A depleted bench didn’t set the Grizzlies back at all in Wednesday’s match-up with the LA Lakers. In fact, that short-handed bench won the ball game for Memphis.

Reserve forward Darrell Arthur scored a season-high 20 points as the Grizzlies embarrassed the Lakers, 106-93.

The Grizzlies are still trying to fill out their roster after trading three players to Cleveland on Tuesday.

The Grizzlies bench produced 43 points with rookie Tony Wroten scoring nine points in his most extended playing time of the season.

Starting point guard Mike Conley added 19 for the Grizzlies, who put 6 players in double figures.

The Grizzlies have not lost this season when scoring 100 or more points (12-0).

The Grizzlies are now 27-14 and host Brooklyn on Friday.
