Grizzlies send three players, one pick to Cavs

Memphis, TN-In a move designed to give the Grizzlies some financial flexibility, the team traded forward Marresse Speights, guards Wayne Ellington and Josh Selby and a protected first round draft pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Grizzlies get Cavs forward Jon Leuer in return. Leuer is a second-year pro out of Wisconsin, who played in nine games for Cleveland this year. The Grizzlies save six million dollars in salary to get below the luxury tax line. The Grizzlies also signed former Dayton guard Chris Johnson to a ten-day contract. The Grizzlies are 26-14 and host the LA Lakers on Wednesday.
