Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority Names New Chairman

A familiar face in Mid-South politics will now be leading the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority.

The governing board elected Jack Sammons as chairman.

He is a former long-time member of the Memphis City Council.

The board also put term limits on the position.
