Memphis City Schools to Close Early

(Memphis) Memphis City Schools will close early today due to the threat of inclement weather.

Schools will close on the following schedule:

- schools starting in the 7:00 AM hour will dismiss at 11:00 am

- schools starting in the 8:00 AM hour will dismiss at noon.

Bus service will be provided for the early dismissals.

Shelby County Schools previously announced the following closing schedule:

- 7:00 am start time schools will dismiss at 10:00 am

- 8:00 am start time schools will dismiss at 11:00 am

- 9:00 am start time schools will dismiss at noon

Also, all after school and evening activities are canceled.
