Traffic Alert On Mississippi River Bridges

Both the I-40 and I-55 bridges are close to stand-still right now due to extremely slick conditions.

The Riverside Drive on-ramp to I-40 west is blocked due to cars sliding.

Chance for a wintery weather mix of rain/sleet/snow or even freezing rain over the next 24 hours. 

Accumulations, however, are expected to be light, and confined to the “southern half” of the Mid-South viewing area.

Sunshine and near normal temperatures return Wednesday and will linger through the rest of the week.
