(Shelby County, TN) Several car crashes caused the closure of 385 east at Forest Hill Irene Monday afternoon.

Traffic was stopped for several hours.

Most roads, especially side streets, in the Memphis area have a sludge build-up that is causing traffic issues.

As of 2:30pm, the Shelby Sheriff’s Office is implementing the Inclement weather policy until further notice.

This means that anyone involved in an accident needs to exchange license information and report it later.
