(Memphis) The daughter of a well known Memphis politician is in town making plans to honor his memory.
George W. Lee headed the Shelby County GOP for years.
He died in a car crash in 1976.
Gilda Lee is not only writing a book about her father, but plans are in the works for a special library dedication in his memory.
It will include his portrait that’s currently hanging in the state capital.
The dedication is expected to happen next year.
