Memphis, TN– Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol combined to score 41 points but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Philadelphia 76ers, who got a season-high 28 points from Dorell Wright in a 99-89 win.

Memphian and former Mitchell high star Thaddeus Young chipped in 13 for the Sixers.

The Grizzlies played without leading scorer Rudy Gay, who missed the game for what the team calls personal reasons.  Gay is expected to rejoin the team on Thursday.

The Grizzlies fall to 18-8 and host Denver on Saturday night.
