Grizzlies fall to pieces in Houston

Houston, TX-The Grizzlies had no answer for Houston guard James Harden or his Rockets teammates on Saturday as Memphis suffered a huge loss, 121-96. Harden scored a game-high 31 points against the Grizzlies, who came into the game with the NBA’s top scoring defense that had been allowing only 89 points a game.

Mike Conley’s 16 points led the Grizzlies, who had their four game win streak broken. Memphis is now 18-7. The Grizzlies hadn’t allowed a team to score 100 points since a season-opening loss in L.A. to the Clippers, a string of 23 straight games.

Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay had his worst game of the year with only six points. The Grizzlies host Philadelphia on Wednesday, December 26th.
